Since I was still five or seven years old, I aspire watching Jet Li films. Until now I like Jet Li films because his kungfu movements is always powerful, smart, beautiful, and not seen “pretended”. Best of the best, for me.

Jet Li’s original name is Li Lian Jie. Since childhood he had exercised wushu martial art, and for years he won martial art champion in Chinese. Before becoming film star, he have ever come up before President of The United States, Richard Nixon, showing wushu.

Jet Li’s parent had passed away since he was still eight years old, and since then he learnt wushu in Beijing Athletic School, taught by Wu Ben which then he considers to be his father. The practices was stringent, sometime he didn’t hold up.

Still remember tsunami in 2004? At the time, he and his child and wife was having vacation in Maladewa, and tsunami happened over there. He worked hard to save his child and wife.  “I believe, the world is one big families, in consequence we need helping each other,” said Jet Li when opening One Foundation, with principle one dollars + one person + one month.

After Bruce Lee film generation, for me, nothing better but Jet Li’s. Nominate Best of the Best Awards.
